We host events throughout the year to raise funds to support the programs and services we provide to children and adults with disabilities. These include our annual Reach for a Star Luncheon and Celebrity Sports Night.
We also bring the community together throughout the year for educational and recreational events.
Vision Awareness Day
This all day free event will introduce the community to Freedom Scientific and Vis-Abilities’ products which assist people with visual disabilities, including blindness and low vision. It includes learning sessions, lunch and hands-on demonstrations.

The Ride to Montauk
Team Viscardi is once again participating in The Ride to Montauk, a cycle tour coordinated by Bicycle Shows US. All proceeds benefit Henry Viscardi School, Abilities, Inc. and The Viscardi Center. 30-145 mile ride options are available from various start points. All end at the Montauk Lighthouse.

A free Career Fair is being held at Abilities, Inc. at The Viscardi Center for program participants.

The Viscardi Alumni Casino Night fundraiser is an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet past Henry Viscardi School and Abilities, Inc. students and participants.

Inaugural Golf Outing Fundraiser
Join us for our inaugural golf outing fundraiser at the prestigious Meadow Brook Club in Jericho, NY. The day will include a round of golf, an elaborate cocktail reception, and a silent auction.
