Arts and Cultural Initiatives
Arts and Cultural Initiatives (ACI) at Abilities! seeks to promote access, participation
and dissemination of best practices and innovations in the arts for the benefit
of people with disabilities. ACI
has become a resource for museums engaging in improving programmatic and physical
access and outreach to people with disabilities.
ACI has developed arts inclusion residency programs bringing together
children with and without disabilities.
ACI promotes best practices through dissemination in lectures and
seminars at colleges, arts organizations, conference panels, newsletters, the Internet
and participation in a large network of arts groups.
