The Zone Editor: Adjusting a Zone
In this section you will learn that by changing the zone’s boundaries, you will be able to increase or decrease the size of any zone. This allows you to include text that may not have been recognized by the Kurzweil.
The Zone Editor: Adding a Zone
Creating a new primary, secondary or graphic zone will allow you create a new zone that will include a section of text that was not recognized by the Kurzweil.

In this section we will demonstrate how to add a primary text zone.
The Zone Editor: Deleting a Zone
Kurzweil may recognize some graphics as text, or create an unwanted Zone(s). You have the option to delete them.

In this section we will demonstrate two ways that you can delete unwanted zones.
The Zone Editor: Changing the Reading Order of Zones
Each primary and secondary zone is given a numeric value that indicates its reading order. In some cases, Kurzweil may not place the zones in the reading order you prefer. In this section we will demonstrate how to change the reading order to meet your requirements.
Editing the Underlying Text
This option will allow you to see how well the program has recognized the scanned text. You may find that the program cannot recognize some words, due to the font or other imperfections in the text. If this is the case, you will have to manually correct the underlying text.

In this section we will demonstrate how to alter the underlying text to remove any misrecognitions or mispronunciations.
