Susan Fridie is an Occupational Therapist who is involved in a wide range of activities at Kornreich, including program development, teaching, and other information dissemination. Before coming to Kornreich, she was a founding member of the Center for Rehabilitation Technology at Helen Hayes Hospital, where she later became Assistant Director. Her assistive technology specialty is access to computers for people with physical disabilities. She is a certified Assistive Technology Practitioner by RESNA, the national organization of assistive technology professionals. She has extensive academic and continuing education teaching experience.

Susan Feuer is a librarian responsible for updating and expanding the Rae C. Kornreich Library, a multimedia collection devoted specifically to assistive technology. She assists library users with locating and using library materials, conducts database searches and other research, and participates in a variety of educational and information dissemination activities. She was formerly a corporate trainer and currently oversees the Kornreich Technology Center’s continuing education certification efforts. In addition, she runs the day-to-day operation of the Center, including program planning and implementation.

Carol Fuhrer came to Abilities! in 1991, helping to develop the assistive technology program that grew into the Kornreich Technology Center. Earlier, she worked as an Occupational Therapist at Bird S. Coler Memorial Hospital, where she became certified in Neurodevelopmental Training. At Kornreich, she evaluates and trains individuals seeking assistive technology, consults to schools and other agencies regarding the implementation of assistive technology, and participates in many of the center's educational projects. In 1997, she became an Assistive Technology Practitioner, as certified by RESNA, the national association of the assistive technology profession.

Ero Mavrikos-Hadzidimitriu, came to the Kornreich Technology Center after working as a Speech-Language Pathologist at United Cerebral Palsy of Nassau County. There she developed a fascination with assistive technology. At Kornreich she is responsible for conducting augmentative/ alternative communication evaluations for children and adults with communication difficulties, does consultation and training for professionals on topics related to assistive technology, and participates in innovative projects within special education.
